Our Photographer, Ingrid Misner, MPA, F.Ph., was awarded Photographer of the Year in 2005 & 2008 by the Professional Photographers of Canada, Manitoba. In October of 2008, Ingrid also achieved the "Master of Photographic Arts" from the Professional Photographers of Canada and the "Honour of Fellowship" from the Professional Photogrraphers of Canada-Manitoba.

Our credo is simple; create images that people love. And therein lies the key. Our love for the industry, our passion for the artistic, our desire to be creative, all conspire to help us help you leave a lasting impression.

Our technologically advanced studio, complete with a state of the art digital darkroom, client viewing room and fully equipped kitchen, is located in Winnipeg, Manitoba. With a combined 31 years of experience in the industry, we are just as passionate as ever about our work and are excited about all the possibilities with the digital age that we are in. We do firmly believe however, that the best image starts with the best capture and that is what we provide every time.

15 months, 50,000 kms, 45 towns and cities, I finally landed in Winnipeg, it was December 1995, the coldest winter on record. Then the birth, January 1996, Artistic Impressions Photography.

How am I doing, after over a decade in the business? Let me just say, this profession ROCKS!

My passion and expertise is in newborn, children, family & executive portraits, weddings, and actor/musician headshots. Varied, yes, but this experience helps me to create special and unique photographs for every client.

I strive to give my clients the best product and experience possible while providing them with something new and different. And believe me, every day brings something different. That's why I love this career, and it shows in the images I create.

What does a guy with a Bachelor of Psychology degree and a Human Resource Management Certificate do for a living? Help run a successful photography studio, of course!

I have applied my interests in HR, marketing and business to help build a top notch photography studio. I recognized a need for something different from the norm, no standard backdrops, or basic lighting. I wanted to let our expertise guide us in creating images that are not cookie cutter but as individual as the people, places and products we photograph. I also wanted to give our clients the best experience possible, from the moment they walk in the door. This has turned our clients into our friends and supporters

Cheri Magarrell - the photographer

My name is Cheri, and I have worked with Artistic Impressions on and off for about 4 years. I love the opportunity to use the creative part of my brain, as I am also a stay at home mom of 3, soon to be 4 children! (Although maybe that's what fuels my creativity...!!!)

I enjoy assisting at weddings and other photo shoots, and trying to see things from unique perspectives and capturing people's emotions. That is my passion!
